Unusual Rigging – New Sustainable Headquarters

Project Overview

Foxton Construction built a new headquarter building for Unusual Rigging. The building is an environmental exemplar that delivers on low carbon and circular economy design principles.

The building was constructed with a glulam timber frame that was designed to be dismantled and re-used at the end of the building’s life.  Natural biogenic building materials were used extensively throughout to create a high-quality healthy workspace.

The project is set in a biodiverse landscape with an on-site rainwater attenuation pond. Following completion, the building won the BCO’s Corporate Workplace and Best of the Best Awards.

Client Testimonial: “From our very first meeting with the Foxton team, we were impressed by their clarity of vision and their genuine understanding of our commitment to Circular Economy principles. Their approach immediately inspired confidence.  As a business, we pride ourselves on precision, timeliness, and delivering exactly what we promise. It was refreshing to work with a team that shares those same values. Foxton’s dedication to process and quality was evident throughout, and it’s no coincidence that our building was completed on schedule, within budget, and with exceptional attention to design detail.  Their ability to quickly adapt to change requests without compromising quality saved valuable time and demonstrated remarkable agility. Weekly progress updates, proactive communication, and their unwavering diligence set Foxtons apart as true professionals.  I would gladly work with them again, a thousand times over.”
