Foxton Construction was delighted to announce its corporate partnership with The Atlas Foundation earlier this year.  The collaboration was a natural fit for Foxton, reflecting the business’s long-standing connection to sport and the vital role it plays in strengthening communities.

The partnership supports the global work of The Atlas Foundation, which delivers projects in some of the world’s most deprived regions, helping children who face extreme poverty and daily adversity. With a shared ambition to make a difference, Foxton committed to raising both funds and awareness throughout the year, the first of these was a dedicated charity shooting event.

Hosted at the prestigious Honesberie Shooting Ground, the event brought together clients, consultants, and suppliers from across the industry for a day of friendly competition. Guests were given the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities, including clay pigeon shooting, crossbows, air rifles, air pistols, and pump-action shotguns.

The event also welcomed an impressive lineup of special guests, including Jason Leonard OBE, alongside rugby legends Neil Back, Tom Wood, Leon Lloyd, and Alex Waller, who helped make the day a standout occasion for everyone involved.

The experience concluded with lunch and a live auction, where generous contributions from attendees helped raise an outstanding £30,000.

Reflecting on the success of the day, Jason Leonard OBE said: “A wonderful day with Foxton Construction at their charity shoot, raising a huge amount of much-needed funds for The Atlas Foundation. Heartfelt thanks to Phil and Brett for their fantastic efforts in putting the whole thing on. What a start to our partnership.”

Phil Balman, Partner at Foxton Construction, commented: “It was great to host our first charity event in support of The Atlas Foundation.  Through the generosity of those who attended, a significant amount was raised, which will enable Atlas to support even more projects that improve the lives of children around the world.”

The event marks the beginning of what Foxton hopes will be a long and impactful partnership, supporting even more children in need around the world.
